Dogskin Lake Lodge

7,000 acres of exclusive water. World-class walleye & pike.

World-Class Fishing

A Walleye & Pike Haven

Dogskin Lake is ideally situated deep in the one million acre Atikaki Provincial Park. With 74 miles of pristine shoreline and a maximum depth of 65 feet, the lake produces exceptional walleye and trophy northern pike year after year.

Trophy Walleye caught at Dogskin Lake

Walleye

Dogskin Lake is a walleye paradise. Our exclusive water produces consistent catches of 18-24 inch fish with trophy walleye over 28 inches regularly landed. We were among the first lodges in Canada to institute a voluntary catch-and-consume policy in the late 1990s — keep 14-17" walleye for shore lunch, release everything else. That commitment to conservation is why the fishing here stays exceptional year after year.

Trophy Northern Pike caught at Dogskin Lake

Northern Pike

Monster northern pike thrive in the bays and weed beds of Dogskin Lake. Trophy pike over 41 inches are caught every season, and our guests regularly land fish in the 35-40 inch range. The abundant forage base produces thick, healthy fish.
