Fly Direct to the Lodge
Private floatplane pilots are welcome to fly directly to Dogskin Lake Lodge. Contact us in advance to coordinate your arrival so we can have the dock ready and brief you on approach.
Nearby Airstrips
If you're flying a wheeled aircraft, these airstrips are close to the Adventure Air float base in Lac du Bonnet. We can arrange ground transportation from any of them.
Lac du Bonnet (CYAX)
About 20 minutes south of the Adventure Air float base. We can arrange ground transportation from here.
Pine Falls Grass Strip (CKB8)
Close to the float base area. Contact us to arrange pickup.
Winnipeg International (CYWG)
For larger aircraft. Rental car or shuttle to Lac du Bonnet (just over an hour).
US/Canada Border Requirements
All pilots must clear customs at an Airport of Entry when crossing the US/Canada border in either direction. You must submit an electronic flight manifest (eAPIS) before each crossing. Consult AOPA (US) and COPA (Canadian) resources for current cross-border procedures.
