Moose Hunting at Dogskin Lake Lodge
Talk to anyone who has gone after a Manitoba Monster moose and you soon learn that there is nothing more exciting than calling in an animal from a mile away, with your heart rate and blood pressure building second by second. The cracking of trees, raking of brush and the interactive calling between your guide and a trophy moose are almost beyond description.

Dogskin Lake Lodge is ideally situated deep in the one million acre Atikaki Provincial Park and is the only outfitter in the park with non-resident moose tags. Our exclusive 7000 acres of water at the lodge not only provide spectacular fishing, but the 85 miles of shoreline and pristine wilderness are prime habitat for moose. Combine the excellent animal populations with our experienced guides, full American Plan lodge, private cabins and excellent chef-prepared meals, we have no doubt that you'll have the trip of lifetime.
Every big game tag includes the option to shoot a wolf.
For all of our moose hunts, we provide one experienced guide per hunter to ensure the best chance at success. Manitoba's moose hunting opens the 3rd Monday in September, but we run our hunts during the 2nd and 3rd weeks to better align with the rut. Our packages include the round-trip floatplane flight to our lodge, bull moose tag and allocation fee, fishing license, one guide per hunter, private cabin, chef-prepared meals with daily shore lunch, basic processing and transportation of your animal back to our floatplane base.

The following are our hunting dates for the next few years. Openings are extremely limited, so contact us early if you're interested in hunting with us. We only have six moose tags available every year.

Moose Hunt Details
Cost is $10,995 US + tax for our 7 day hunt and include:
One Professional Guide per hunter
Optional wolf hunting
Flights from our floatplane base in Silver Falls, Manitoba
Excellent meals, shore lunch and beverages
Moose and fishing license and allocation fees
Private cabin with bathroom
Deposit of $2500 is required to reserve your hunt
If you wound an animal, every effort will be made to recover it. Regardless of whether it is found or not, the tag will be considered filled, however, you may still hunt a wolf and fish until the end of your trip.
